BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) – Prosecutors don't know why Catherine Greig failed to tell them about a bank account worth $134,000 or a house that she owned in Quincy, according to the Boston Herald.
Greig was required to reveal all of her assets when she applied for bail after her arrest.
Last year, Greig was sentenced to eight years in prison for identity fraud and harboring a fugitive. Her attorneys are now appealing the sentence, saying Greig should only serve two years.
Prosecutors say Greig's decision to withhold information about her assets is one reason to not reduce her sentence.
