Job Shop: Michigan Franchise Forum

Posted: Updated:

Mark Corey of FranNet and Lisa Diggs of Buy Michigan Now join Murray Feldman in the Fox 2 Job Shop to talk about franchise opportunities.

From the Michigan Franchise Forum: The corporate realities in Michigan have had many considering career transitions that involve starting their own business and investing in themselves. For those looking at a new career path or a new investment opportunity that will also help support growing Michigan-based companies, they can join FranNet of Michigan, Buy Michigan Now and SCORE as they co-present the Michigan Franchise Forum on Wednesday, March 20 (3-5:30 p.m.) at VELOCITY Collaboration Center.

The Michigan Franchise Forum provides attendees with the opportunity to learn about several premier franchise companies that are headquartered right here in Michigan and poised for continued expansion in our state. Franchise development executives will also be available for one-on-one discussions after the presentation, including the event's co-sponsors Battery Giant (Sterling Heights), Zoup (Southfield), ComForcare Senior Services (Bloomfield Hills), Roosters Men's Grooming Centers (Lapeer) and ProTect Painters (Ann Arbor).

If the steps needed to achieve career freedom and control may still seem a bit confusing, Keynote speaker Mark Cory of Franchise Network (FranNet) of Michigan will provide Michigan Franchise Forum attendees with invaluable information on franchise due diligence and a step-by-step methodology for selecting the right fit. Cory will also discuss how franchising can provide a proven, systematic approach to starting and staying in business. In addition, a franchise financing expert will discuss funding options for franchises with a total investment range starting at below $100K.

The Michigan Franchise Forum is FREE of charge and open to the public.

Seating is limited and registration is required. To register, contact Mark Cory of FranNet of Michigan via e-mail at mcory@frannet.com or register on-line at http://michiganfranchiseforum.com/registration.php.
