GROSSE POINTE, Mich. (WJBK) -
Sexy leading man Ryan Gosling is setting hearts afire across metro Detroit as he pops up here and there. The hunky actor wants to make a movie here called "How to Catch a Monster," and to catch Gosling, you might want to try Grosse Pointe.
Staff and customers are still buzzing about the heartthrob actor popping into the Starbucks on Kercheval.
"We've actually had a bunch of people calling, and we have a feeling there's going to be like high school girls collecting in here after school today," said a worker.
"I'd be so excited. I'd have to get his autograph for my daughters for sure," said a customer.
Jill just happened to stop in for coffee. She works next door at Skye Salon.
"If he was here now I'd be excited," she said.
What would she say to him?
"I don't know? I love him."
Naturally a salon full of women would have something to say or swoon or shriek or just play it cool like Natalie.
"I wish I was in there getting a coffee and acting really cool," she said.
How would she act if he was around?
"I would act like I didn't know who he was so maybe he'd think I was cool."
"I can't do the cool," said another woman. "I would get all red and shy."
Other than on the ladies' phones, we did not see Gosling, but he has been seen around town scouting movie locations. Have your cameras ready.
