Panel discusses gun control, drones

Constitutional Lawyer Mark Smith and Air Force Col. Michael Canders weigh in on the gun control debate and Mayor Mike Bloomberg's statement that drones will watch all Americans one day.

GUN CONTROL:

"The mayor of New York City is trying to talk to middle America and tell them what to do about guns. I think it's a waste of $12M. Michael Bloomberg is protected by men with guns and then he turns around and tells people they can't have guns. Criminals don't comply with gun laws and these laws in Congress have nothing to do for making it harder for criminals to get guns," said Constitutional Lawyer Mark Smith.

DRONES:

Speaking on the radio, Bloomberg said he doesn't see how you can stop the use of drones or unmanned aircraft.

"Drones, this is a trend that is unstoppable. There are concerns about safety and the flying public. But the FAA is taking steps to make sure it's used properly," said Air Force Col. Michael Canders

"The question is when you have these drones flying over you, you're already outside. It's perfectly lawful to occur today," said Smith.
