Bugaboo stroller recall 2013

NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

Bugaboo is recalling its Cameleon3 strollers because of the risk of the child falling, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced.

About 9,200 strollers in the United States and 960 in Canada are affected.

The stroller features a removable seat and bassinet, which you carry using a U-shaped carry handle.

The company has received at least 16 complaints of the carry handle breaking.

Strollers included in the recall have serial numbers from 19010 11153 00001 to 19010 51248 00215. You can find the serial numbers printed on a horizontal bar of the stroller's chassis beneath the seat.

If you have this stroller model, you should immediately remove the handle from the bassinet and contact Bugaboo for a free replacement handle. You can continue using the stroller as long as you keep the seat or bassinet attached to the chassis.

The stroller was sold at Buy Buy Baby, Toys R Us, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Bugaboo.com, and other baby product stores and online retailers from September 2012 to March 2013.

You can contact Bugaboo Americas at (800) 460-2922, serviceus@bugaboo.com or online at www.bugaboo.com.

For many students, school starts next week. So what will your teens be asking you to buy? Technology. That's right: they are willing to wear last year's clothes and instead spend money on the latest tech. Gone are the days of securing your status in high school with the right clothes. Now your teens need to own the newest tablet or smart phone and its accessories.

Many new Ford and GM cars have built-in technology that allows you to monitor speed, signaling, and navigation when your child is driving. But when it comes to this type of digital snooping, teens and their parents often have differing opinions. Kids may call it an invasion of privacy. Most parents, of course, will likely feel otherwise.
