LANSDALE, Pa. -

It was a chaotic and potentially dangerous scene at Park Road and West Point Pike in Lansdale  Monday evening.

"I heard the breaking sound and then a big bang," said Matthew Henderson. He heard the impact of a two car crash a half block away from his house. He ran out to find an upright SUV along side a car that was turned over on its side and backed up to the side of a business.

"There was a young lady in one car in shock. The airbag deployed and her eyes were everywhere. The other car flipped on its side and the driver was trying to climb out the car."

Matthew and another man helped the guy out of the passenger window of the car but couldn't get to the other two victims.  Then they heard a scary, spraying sound.

"We looked behind the car and there was a gas meter that was spewing gas all over the place," said Matthew. He says even with the danger of the gas leak though, his parental instinct kicked in and he had to help.

Matthew said, "So many emotions were going through me because I have daughter and you see the girl in the car stuck. It's like if this is my daughter what would I do?"

One person was flown to CHOP. Two others were taken to the hospital by ambulance. No word on what caused the crash.

PECO says the gas has been shut off until the line can be fixed.
