Thirty-five people face more than 60 criminal charges that include prostitution and narcotics violations after a citywide sting, Philadelphia police announced Wednesday.
The sting, which was conducted between Tuesday, March 26 and Friday, March 29, was the first of several initiatives that police say are meant to target the patronizing of prostitution, more commonly known as "johns."
The results of the investigation were made public Wednesday.
Investigators say those arrested face a total of 67 charges.
