UPPER MORELAND TOWNSHIP, Pa. -

Charges were upgraded to murder Wednesday in connection to a stabbing in Upper Moreland after the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office said the victim died.

According to the district attorney, Candice Phillips was arrested Tuesday in connection to the stabbing.

Police say Myron McClinton was stabbed Tuesday morning in a home on the 2500 block of Horsham Road.

A 911 dispatcher received a call from a man who identified himself as McClinton and claimed he had been stabbed by Phillips, the DA said.

When officers arrived at the home, they were met by a woman, Phillips, who police say told officers where the victim was and allegedly said "I did it, I did it."

McClinton, 54, was found in the home's master bedroom, police said.
