SAN TAN VALLEY, Ariz. -

Pinal County Sheriff's deputies say a woman crashed into the back of a school bus while speeding on Thursday morning.

The woman was allegedly speeding and driving recklessly near Gantzel and Combs Roads when she ran into the back of a school bus for Florence Unified School District. She was reportedly going 90 mph.

Deputies say the woman was taken to a hospital. She was later identified as Shiree Kalectaca, 40. Deputies say she showed obvious signs of impairment and admitted to taking morphine earlier in the morning.

PCSO says 8 kids were on the school bus at the time of the crash. Rural Metro Fire Department evaluated each of the children, and they all refused medical treatment and continued on to their respective schools.

Deputies say multiple drivers called 911 before the crash to report the woman's erratic driving.

A blood sample will be submitted to the DPS Crime Lab for testing. Pending results of the test, Kalectaca faces DUI and reckless driving.
