Group offers free rides to NCAA Final Four fan events

Posted: Updated:
ATLANTA -

The local organizing committee for the NCAA Men's Final Four and the NCAA are offering free rides to be provided at select locations for fan events on Friday, April 5 and Sunday, April 7.

The rides are being offered for the Reese's Final Four Friday and the Reese's College All-Star Game, and again on Sunday, April 7 for the Division II and Division III national championship games.

Organizers for the Atlanta Local Organizing Committee say Atlanta residents who live east and south of the city can catch the free shuttle on Friday between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m., and on Sunday between 11:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.

The bus will pick fans up at two locations: Southlake Mall, located at 1000 Southlake Mall in Morrow, and near the East Lake Foundation, located at 2201 Glenwood Avenue, adjacent to the Publix Supermarket, say organizers.

They say Friday's shuttle will arrive outside Gate D of the Georgia Dome, and Sunday's shuttle will arrive outside the ticket office at Philips Arena on Centennial Olympic Park Dr. Both drop-off locations are within walking distance to the other Men's Final Four fan events.
