What first seemed like a humiliating date night for a teenage couple has set off a flood of support larger than even FOX 29 expected.

On Wednesday night, we introduced you to 17-year-old Annarose and 18-year-old Stephan. Both live with Down Syndrome and both are inseparable.

This past weekend, Stephan planned to take Annarose to an AMC movie theater in Marlton, New Jersey. The theater had assigned seating and the couple accidentally sat in the wrong row.

A movie theater worker told them to move to different seats that were separate from each other.

In a statement, AMC told FOX 29 they treat all of their guests with respect and they're offering the couple a free private screening. The theater also refunded the tickets.

But Stephan wants to make it up to Annarose with a dinner date. Annarose says her ideal date would be to go to a Phillies game if the couple can save up enough money to purchase tickets.

When you, our viewers, heard that you wasted no time offering your support. Many of you actually offered the couple money and tickets, but they tell us they've decided to accept an offer from someone who works with the Phillies.

The couple sends a big thank you to everyone who wanted to help.
