Bald Is Beautiful And Maybe Profitable!

Posted: Updated:

Let me give you a HEADs-up. Bad puns may be part of this HEAD-scratcher of a story. Call this guerilla advertising - shock advertising. A Texas man who says bald is beautiful thinks bald is a money-maker! Brandon Chicotsky has set up a website called baldlogos.com.

For $320 bucks you get one of his bald "angelicals" to walk around with your company logo on their heads for 6 hours at a time. Or you could become one and get $15 an hour and make about $100 a day just by USING YOUR HEAD! Those ads, by the way, are made from decals. Chicotsky, who says he's always been a performer, has some YouTube ads out for companies and for his own. he says he gives some of his profit to a charity for a hair loss disorder.

But, the big question is would you have one plastered on your head. Marc Hemsworth and Russ Shuster, who are both bald differ. Hemsworth isn't likely to sport one, but says he could if it were the right ad. Shuster sounds more likely, but won't wear just anything. "Eat at Joes" won't work for either. Publicists Scott Bergstrom, Katie Dabbs and Erik Deutsch all think the concept is novel enough it could work. Though when you ask Katie if she'd wear one she says "No .... no way."
