NJ Wildfire Contained After Burning Through More Than 100 Acres

HAMMONTON, N.J. -

Investigators are looking into what sparked a forest fire in New Jersey's Wharton State Forest.

The fire sparked around 7 p.m. Saturday night. By 10 p.m., fire officials estimated the fire to have burned through 100-120.

The fire has since been contained.

The flames were in a remote area of the state forest. The nearest cross road is Carranza Road in Tabernacle, New Jersey.
