SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) - A 61-year-old man accused of killing his wife at their Scottsdale home has pleaded not guilty.

Michael Jay Cohn faces a charge of first-degree murder in Maricopa County Superior Court, where he was arraigned Thursday.

Police said Cohn called 911 on March 27 and said he had strangled his 60-year-old wife, Linda Cohn.

Responding officers found the woman's body in a bathroom.

Officers said they noticed blood on Michael Cohn's hands and scratches on his neck and he asked for an attorney.
