Woman writes she regrets having children

Posted: Updated:

A blogger on Dailymail.co.uk writes that having children is the biggest regret of life.

Isabella Duncan says she wishes she had remained childless because "I resented the time my children consumed. Like parasites, they took from me and didn't give back." She says she can't explain her feeling, but it is how she feels.

Duncan says she values her own time to reflect, to read and for peace of mind. With the children, that peace of mind was apparently shattered.

Isabella Duncan says she realized it days after first child was born. She had a second child, despite her feelings. She says just having one child is "selfish."
