PHILADELPHIA -

Philadelphia police say an argument may have led to the shooting of a 15-year-old outside of a corner store in Northwest Philadelphia Sunday.

The 15-year-old was shot once in the chest on the 400 block of East Washington Lane around 3:15 p.m.

According to police, the boy was taken to Einstein Medical Center by a private vehicle and placed in "extremely critical condition."

Investigators say at least two men were seen running from the scene after the shots were fired.

One person is in custody, according to police. But as of Sunday night, police were still searching for a second gunman.

Investigators have not released the name of the victim or a description of the suspect.
