Mentally disabled woman missing from South Side found

CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

A mentally disabled woman who went missing from her South Side home on Sunday has been found, police said Monday night.

Jada Jones, 21, was last seen about 9:15 p.m. Sunday when she left her home in the 6900 block of South Indiana Avenue, police said. She has the cognitive ability of a 5-year-old.

Police announced Monday evening the woman has been located.

She carried a cell phone and could communicate, but she had no money and does not travel alone.

Police said Jones was last seen wearing a gray denim outfit that had zippers across the back.
