A criminal with big aspirations, or at least a big getaway vehicle, made off with a barn this weekend in Oswego.
When police responded at 7:24 p.m. Sunday to a report of a theft at Cotton State Barns in the 5400 block of U.S. Route 34 in Oswego, the resident reported somebody stole a 10-foot by 12-foot wooden barn, according to a release from the Kendall County Sheriff's office.
The barn, which is valued at more than $300, was taken sometime between 3 p.m. Saturday and 6:30 p.m. Sunday, police said.
Cotton State Barns sells a variety of portable barn models, according to the company's website.
No suspects are in custody and the theft remains under investigation Monday evening.
