On Tuesday's Chat Room, Sun-Times Splash Editor Susanna Negovan and lifestyle consultant Rochelle Trotter welcomed Jennifer Spitz, a local mom taking action against superbugs in school lunches, and Real Housewife of New Jersey Jacqueline Laurita, an autism awareness advocate.

The public may be taking drugs, without even knowing it. Antibiotics are in the vast majority of the meat we eat, and antibiotic-resistant bacteria are too. The drugs are in the meat sold at grocery stores and restaurants, and it's also in the meat served to children in schools.

Local mom Jennifer Spitz is trying to get those superbugs out of school lunches, to stop the problems caused by the antibiotics in kids' food supply. Her son Sam nearly died from the chicken he ate in his school lunch.

Thousands of people have signed her petition, she has traveled to Washington to make her voice known and she even made a documentary to inform the public.

Jacqueline Laurita of the "Real Housewives of New Jersey"joined the Chat Room to speak on a very important cause close to her heart and dish on some drama from the show.

The new season of the Bravo reality show kicks off on June 2. There have been major fights between Laurita and fellow cast member Teresa Giudice in the past, but now they're supporting each other. Although she can be seen as a polarizing person, she seems to be getting along with everyone again. Laurita has also struggled with her daughter Ashlee, and their journey is outlined in the new episodes.

Laurita's son Nicholas was diagnosed with autism and she's been open about the challenges on "Real Housewives." But Laurita is determined to have a positive outlook and sustain hope for her son – as well as all kids diagnosed with autism.
