Could action-packed TV fare make you fat? That's the implication of a new study that found people snacked more watching fast-paced television than viewing a more leisurely paced talk show.

PRESCOTT, Ariz. -

Minor league hockey players are used to rough conditions while traveling in the season. But members of the Prescott Sundogs hockey team are taking it to a new level.

They've been sleeping outdoors, 30 feet in the air on a crane, and they've been there since Sunday.

The Arizona Sundogs are the affiliate of the Phoenix Coyotes -- and they are a dedicated group -- their slogan is "whatever it takes."

And now they're doing whatever it takes to gain more fans.

Way up high, on this crate, four guys from the Arizona Sundogs are refusing to be ignored.

"Now we are the talk of the town right now, everybody that sees us is talking about the Arizona Sundogs," says Lew Rees, marking director.

The group, including the team captain and three members of the front office staff, decided to stay on the lift until they reach their goal to get 300 more season ticket holders. That was four days ago.

Now they're sleeping, eating, and waiting for their stunt to pay off.

"We are all growing beards and we stink and we want off this thing," says team captain Jason Morgan.

"I will tell you after 3 hours it's not fun anymore. This is a really sacrifice for people up in this crate, after four days you're tired," says Rees.

For about 100 hours, the group has tried to get every car passing Highway 69 and Glassford Hill Road to stop and buy season tickets. By day two, the fans starting coming in -- but perhaps not as fast as they hoped.

"I think our town in particular and surrounding towns have really gravitated to us being up here, so long we just hope they will respond in kind and they've certainly done so to this point," says Chris Bresson, general manager.

"96 hours plus, so we are getting anxious to get down. We are getting close but not there yet."

A team that plays hard, willing to do whatever it takes to get the community to watch.
