PHILADELPHIA -

Police in Philadelphia say they're searching for the man who was seen on surveillance video suddenly punching another man, breaking his jaw.

Investigators say the video captured an assault in the area of the 1700 block of Diamond Street on April 17 around 8 p.m.

The video shows a group of men outside near several parked cars. Suddenly, one man is seen punching another man. The man falls to the ground after he is hit and then others get involved.

Police on Thursday released a photo of the man they believe is the suspect seen in the video.

If know the man in the video or have any information that might help police, you're asked to call the Philadelphia Police Department at 215-686-TIPS. You can also text a tip to PPD TIP or 773847.
