Providing hope, opportunity and scholarships for Michigan kids.  That's the premise behind Kids' Chance of Michigan.

Fox 2's Murray Feldman talks with Murray R. Feldman, President of the Kids' Chance Michigan chapter.  He's from the law firm Strobl & Sharp in Bloomfiueld Hills.

Play the video to hear how you can get involved in the program.

The following information is from the Kids' Chance of Michigan web site:

Kids' Chance of Michigan is one of 26 state chapters associated with Kids' Chance of America, a national organization.

At Kids' Chance of Michigan we're dedicated to helping Michigan kids who need it most – those who need assistance for college or vocational education because a parent has been killed or catastrophically injured in a work-related accident.

Our mission is to raise funds to provide need based scholarships to qualifying kids ages 17-22 to pursue their educational dreams at a college, community college, trade or vocational school in Michigan.

Please help us fulfill our mission by donating to our organization, helping us identify scholarship applicants, or by participating in whatever way you can.

Together we can make a difference in the lives of Michigan kids by providing hope, opportunity, and scholarships.

The internet is like an elephant -- it never forgets. While spoken words leave little trace and are quickly forgotten, written words endure in the online environment. Whatever you post, tweet, update, share -- even if it's deleted immediately afterwards -- has the potential to be captured by someone, somewhere, without your knowledge.
