QUEEN CREEK, Ariz. -

Police have released a sketch of a man who forced a 10-year-old child into his car while she was out walking alone. Investigators say the man then exposed himself to the young girl.

This happened in Queen Creek near Power and Germann.

The suspect has dark hair and a dark complexion. He forced a little girl into his car, and deputies want to catch him before he does it again.

He waited for school to let out then found his victim -- a 10-year-old girl walking home alone.

Deputies say he asked her if she wanted a ride. She refused and then he pulled out a gun forcing her into the car. He exposed himself, then let her go.

It happened on Ryan Road, about a block from Cortina Elementary. Parents in this Queen Creek neighborhood are now banding together to try and catch this guy.

"This morning as soon as I got on the computer there was a message from our neighborhood email group," says Toni Mead, parent.

Higley Unified School District sent out a letter to parents and neighborhood groups have sent out email blasts asking parents to walk their kids to and from school.

"I called to make sure that both of my neighbors on either side of me knew what was going on," says Michelle Robinson.

MSCO deputies have also saturated the area. It's a sight people out here aren't used to seeing.

"There's not a lot of crime around here, it's just weird," says Charles McCaffrey.

"Nowadays you just have to be extra careful you can't let your kids outside like it was when I was growing up," says Mead.

The suspect's car is described as a brown or gray four door car. Deputies are asking parents to walk their kids to and from school.
