WILMINGTON, Del. -

A former soccer coach for a prestigious Wilmington prep school is being held in state prison after he was charged with 25 counts of child pornography.

Daniel Cooke, 26, was arrested Tuesday after state police investigators say they confiscated several computers and other electronic devices from his Hockessin home.

Members of the state's Child Predator Task Force say they arrested Cooke after an undercover online investigation.

According to investigators, more than 100 images and videos of young children engaged in sex acts were found. Some of those pictures, investigators say, were of children younger than 10-years-old.

Neighbors tell FOX 29 Cooke lives with his mother but they said they didn't see much of them around the neighborhood.

News of his arrest has neighbors shocked.

The 26-year-old was an assistant junior varsity boys soccer coach at the Tatnall School for three months back in the fall.

Administrators confirmed Cooke passed a background check. The school says it never received any complaints about him. The school says he will not return as coach.

According to court records, Cooke admitted he was using a file sharing program to download the images and says he had been doing it since 2002.

Cooke is being held on $1 million bail.

The attorney general asks anyone with information regarding Cooke to come forward.
