Mom, Son Accused Of Burglarizing Del. Business 3 Times

A mom and her 16-year-old son were arrested in connection to three burglaries in March at a Yorklyn, Delaware business.

According to Delaware State Police, mom Patricia Gustaitis, 42, and her son face burglary and other related charges.

Investigators accuse the pair of breaking into the Poured Foundations of Delaware on the 2800 block of Creek Road on the 14th, 16th and 30th of March.

More than $18,000 worth of metal and metal construction supplies was stolen, according to police.

Investigators say after each burglary, the teen would allegedly sell the stolen metal as scrap.

The boy was taken into custody at his home on April 19 but was released later to family members. State police say Gustaitis was later taken into  custody after she went to a state police building on May 1.
