JOHNS CREEK, Ga. -

Police in Johns Creek are seeking a missing 19-year-old man.

The Johns Creek Police Department was informed on April 27 that Aftab Aslam had been kidnapped. Aslam's family told police that they had received a text stating he had been kidnapped.

After the FBI, GBI and Johns Creek Police Department investigated, they found that Aslam had purchased the phone used to text the family.

Authorities believe that Aslam may have sent the text about his kidnapping to his family.

Aslam was last seen at his home on Morton Crossing Road wearing white pajama pants and no shirt, according to police.

Anyone with information on Aslam's whereabouts is asked to call police at 678-274-8348.
