A motorcyclist who was killed in a collision has been identified by Scottsdale Police.
Scottsdale police say it appears a motorcycle crashed into an SUV that was trying to turn left in the middle of the intersection, about 3:30 p.m. Sunday.
The driver of the motorcycle was taken to a hospital where he died. Police say he was wearing a helmet.
He has been identified as 19-year-old Trevor Fehrenbach.
Speed on the part of the motorcyclist may be a factor in the collision.
The intersection was closed for 5 hours. The investigation is ongoing.
