It's all things Greek as the Marietta Greek Festival returns on Friday to the Holy Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church! Maria Caras stopped by Good Day Atlanta on Tuesday to talk about the festive event, and whipped up a healthy Mediterranean meal!

Recipe: Plaki-Baked Fish and Salad

5-6 fish filets (Snapper, Grouper or Haddock)
1/2 cup lemon juice
1 cup chopped parsley
3 medium onions, thinly sliced
3-4 large tomatoes
1/2 cup olive oil
Salt and pepper

Rinse filets and pat dry. Sprinkle salt and pepper and lemon juice on fish. Lay fish in baking pan and layer tomatoes, parsley and onions on top. Pour olive oil over everything and bake at 350 degrees for abut an hour. Serves 4.

Recipe: Horiatiki - Greek Village Salad

4 medium tomatoes sliced in quarters
1 cucumber sliced
1 small red onion sliced in rings
Feta cheese
Olive Oil and vinegar
Salt and pepper
oregano

Slice cucumber over tomatoes. Add red onions. Layer feta on top, sprinkle salt, pepper, oregano, olive oil and a little vinegar. You can also add some kalamata olives if you prefer.
