Powerball winning numbers May 18, 2013

NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

The winning numbers in a near-historic Powerball jackpot were announced Saturday night.

The numbers drawn were: 22, 10, 13, 14, 52 and a Powerball of 11.

Powerball's estimated jackpot soared to a record $600 million because of brisk sales across the states involved in the lottery.  The lump-sum cash value of the jackpot is an estimated $376.9 million.

With four of every five possible combinations of Powerball numbers in play, someone was thought to almost be sure to win the game's highest jackpot.

The chances of winning the prize remained astronomically low: 1 in 175.2 million. That's how many different ways you can combine the numbers when you play.

The largest jackpot in Powerball history was drawn on November 28, 2012. Two winning tickets for that $587.5 million jackpot were sold in Missouri and Arizona.
