Philly Students Stage Walkout To Protest Budget Cuts

PHILADELPHIA -

Philadelphia students walked out of school Friday and flooded the streets of Center City to protest district budget cuts.

SkyFOX flew over the peaceful walk-out students began gathering outside school district headquarters, located at 440 North Broad Street, before noon. They then marched to City Hall.

The same group also organized a rally last week.

The students are asking the district to give back money they took in recent budget cuts, which they say could keep more schools open.
