Fatal motorcycle crash overnight in Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) -

Minneapolis police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that took place early Sunday morning.

A motorcyclist was killed after colliding with a limo bus at about 3 a.m. at the intersection of Emerson and 27th avenues in south Minneapolis.

Investigators say the motorcyclist broadsided the back corner of the party bus in the intersection, and witnesses told FOX 9 News the driver was going as fast as 60 mph without using his headlight.

The motorcyclist has not yet been identified. He was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead at the scene.

There were three people on the bus at the time of the crash, but no one else was hurt.

Police have not released any information regarding the cause of the crash. No arrests have been made.
