SACRAMENTO, Calif. -

A professional eater from California known as "The Bear" shattered two world records Monday.

Jamie McDonald is a 36-year-old personal trainer -- someone you wouldn't expect to be ranked as a professional eater.

He was set up at the Thunder Valley Casino Resort and given a huge, 10-pound apple pie.

"We're going for the six-minute record, and then I'm going to just keep going until I can't eat anymore."

McDonald was able to eat about nine pounds of it in less than six minutes -- and even a little bit of a second one, totaling more than 11 pounds of pie eaten!

"Something like this where it's really sugary, you have to overcome the taste and keep the speed up and keep the pace, especially going for a record like this, you can't be slow," he explained.  ".. but it's the sugar that gets to you. It was very good pie. Haha."

So after eating the pie, what did he want to do?

"Walk..walk..walk. And water," said McDonald.  "No desserts, I'm done with sugar for the day."

McDonald walked off the world record tummy ache right to the resort's newly renovated buffet --  but avoided the dessert table!
