Expert witnesses expected to called include retired Mass. State Police officials and medical experts.

The documents were released just two weeks before Bulger's trial is slated to begin for his alleged role in 19 murders.

Here is the complete list of expert witnesses released by U.S. Attorney Carmen Ortiz's office:

Massachusetts Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Richard J. Evans (Ret.)

Dr. Evans served as medical examiner for the state between 1993 and 2005. Court documents say Dr. Evans reviewed materials associated with the murders of each of Bulger's 19 alleged victims. Those materials include autopsy reports, crime scene photos, police reports, and medical examiner notes.

Mass. State Police Trace, Arson, and Explosive Unit Acting Forensic Scientist John E. Drugan

Prosecutors say Drugan is an expert in the analysis of gunshot residue and explosives-related crime scenes. Drugan is expected to testify on metal fragments and other substances recovered at the sites where the bodies of Paul McGonagle, John McIntyre, and Deborah Hussey were found.

Forensic Anthropologist Ann Marie Mires, Ph.D.

Dr. Mires was formerly employed by the Chief Medical Examiner's office. She is expected to testify about the recovery of bodies of Paul McGonagle, Deborah Hussey, John McIntyre, Arthur Barrett, Thomas King, and Debra Davis. She will also testify about the objects recovered at the burial sites.

Forensic DNA Analyst Gina Pineda

Pineda will testify that she conducted DNA tests for six of the homicide victims.

Mass. State Police Detective Lieutenant Michael Coleman

Coleman, a firearms expert, is expected to testify about test-firing guns related to the trial.

G. Kate Crowley, D.M.D.

Dr. Kate Crowley is employed by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner as a forensic dental consultant. Dr. Crowley will testify about her comparison of dental records belonging to victims Arthur Barrett and John McIntyre to remains found at a burial site in Dorchester.

Bulger's trial is scheduled to begin June 6.
