HALL COUNTY, Ga. -

Hall County authorities are searching for an armed woman whom they say shot and robbed a pottery store employee in Lula this morning.

Deputies say it happened outside Wayne Wilson Pottery on Cornelia Highway (Highway 365).  They say the suspect confronted the employee in the parking lot, and the victim was shot in the neck/head area after she was being robbed.  The victim, who is also a woman, was conscious and alert when she was taken to the hospital for treatment.

FOX 5's Doug Evans reports that the bullet grazed the victim and she is expected to be OK.

Gary Wilson, the son of the owner of the business, told FOX 5 that the business has been there 28 years, and up to now, the worst thing that has happened was when someone stole a bird bath.

The owner, Wayne Wilson, said that he didn't hear the shot, but saw his employee run inside covered in blood. Wilson said that he is thinking about ways that he can make his business safe.

The suspect is described as a white woman who was wearing sunglasses and a baseball cap, and deputies say she was driving a red, mid-sized SUV.  She is considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call 911 immediately.  Deputies ask that you not confront the suspect.
