A 20-year-old convicted sex offender in Delaware faces new charges for allegedly distributing child pornography online, investigators say.
Kevin H. Boone, of Middletown, was arrested and charged with 25 counts of dealing in child pornography, according to a news release from the state attorney general's office.
He's already a tier-two sex offender following a conviction for possessing child pornography in 2010.
Authorities said an investigation of child porn online led to the execution of a search warrant Thursday at a residence on Senator Drive in Middletown. There, detectives seized many computers and digital media, and Boone was taken into custody.
Detectives said they were able to find emails that Boone received and sent that included video of an unclothed boy under age 10 engaged in a sex act with an adult male.
Boone -- who told police he's a student at Delaware Technical and Community College -- was arraigned and taken to jail in lieu of $250,000 secured bail.
