PHILADELPHIA -

Philadelphia police are looking for a man who they say sexually assaulted a teenage girl in Germantown.

Police say the incident happened just before 11 p.m. on May 19 on the 6000 block of Wister Street.

The suspect was caught on surveillance video riding a bicycle at the time. He got off his bike, crossed the street and approached the girl as she was walking home from a friend's house. He threatened the teen with a gun and then assaulted her in an alley, police said.

The description of the suspect is vague at this time but is described as wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and riding a mountain bike.

If you have any information on the incident, you are asked to call the Philadelphia Police Special Victims Unit.
