REDFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WJBK) -

Redford Township police need help to identify a man seen assaulting a woman and dragging her out of the Marathon Gas station at Telegraph and Schoolcraft in Detroit.

Police say the attack took place around 4:50 a.m. Sunday.

It appears the two walked into the station to purchase gas. Once inside, the woman asked the clerk to call police. While she was doing so, the man assaulted the woman, dragged her out of the store and forced her into a white Chevrolet Malibu.

The vehicle took off going north on Telegraph. The incident was captured on a surveillance camera inside the building.
