Lenny from "Cookin' With Lenny" Smoke House in Chatsworth stops by Good Day LA to show us his maple smoked chicken for Memorial Day.

Ingredients:

8 pieces chicken (quartered whole bird)
1 1/2 to 2T Dark chili powder
2T olive oil
1 tsp cumin - ground
3T fresh chopped rosemary
1T Oregano
8 cloves garlic
2T green onion, chopped
2T maple syrup
2T whiskey
salt & pepper to taste
dash of cayenne pepper to taste

Preparation:
Marinate ingredients with chicken overnight or for at least 4 hours. Smoke chicken for 2 hours & glaze occasionally with maple syrup. Finish in oven until done.
