High School Valedictorian Swaps Speech For Prayer

A high school valedictorian from South Carolina is becoming an internet sensation after swapping his pre-approved speech for the Lord's Prayer. 

Roy Costner is Liberty High's Valedictorian.  He made a bold move and ripped up his speech.  He then proceeded to recite the prayer in protest.

Apparently, the school district decided to no longer include prayer at graduation ceremonies and Roy wanted to make a statement.    

By the cheers and applause, it appears the other students approved.
