GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) - The Arizona Cardinals say a new NFL policy will limit the size and type of bags that will be allowed into University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale.
Last month, the league's Committee on Stadium Security recommended the implementation of the measure for public safety and to make it easier for fans to get into all stadiums.
Cardinals officials announced Thursday that the guidelines will be implemented beginning with preseason games.
Bags that will not be allowed include purses larger than a clutch bag, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, cinch bags, luggage of any kind, seat cushions, computer bags and camera bags.
