PHILADELPHIA -

More questions remain after L&I inspector Ronald Wagenhoffer took his own life in the wake of the deadly center city building collapse.

There will be a special investigative committee hearing Wednesday morning at City Hall.

Deputy Mayor Everett Gillison and Department of Licenses and Inspections Commissioner Carlton Williams will testify about demolition protocols and procedures.

Wagenhoffer was the last one to examine the doomed site at 22nd and Market streets before the June 5 collapse.

He died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, police say.
