82-Year Old Woman Robbed While Shopping At Food Co-Op

Philadelphia police are looking for the two men who, they say, robbed an 82-year old woman in Chestnut Hill last week.

The incident occurred on June 19 at the Weavers Way Co-Op on Germantown Avenue at approximately 5:00 pm.

While the woman was shopping, the suspects entered the store.  They locate the woman and one of the suspects bumps into her.  He  conceals what he took with a garment bag.  

When the woman attempts to pay for her goods, she notices her black deposit bag is missing.  It held cash, checks, and credit card slips.

Both suspects had already left the store and fled on foot.

Police are asking for the public to take a look at the surveillance footage.  If you recognize these men,, you are asked to call 911.

Suspect #1 is described as a Black male, 30-40 years-of-age, stocky build, medium complexion, wearing a blue baseball cap, blue/purple t-shirt, dark colored shorts, and black sneakers.

Suspect #2 is described as a Black male, 30-40 years-of-age, medium build, dark complexion, wearing a red t-shirt with a white eagle emblem on the left side and white sneakers.
