A Russian space capsule that traveled to the International Space Station is making the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum its new home.
The nine-foot tall by nine-foot wide Soyuz capsule was placed on the Flight Deck of the aircraft carrier on Tuesday morning.
It will eventually be moved to the new Space Shuttle Pavilion currently under construction.
The capsule carried private citizen Greg Olsen, one of the few non-astronauts to travel into space.
