A man from New York had some unfinished business to tend to Tuesday.
George Whalen, 85, finally put on his cap and gown and graduated from high school!
He missed his graduation back in 1945 because he was drafted into the Navy to serve during World War II.
Whalen returned to New York after the war, got married, and had kids- but didn't have the chance to walk the stage until now.
His family and school administrators arranged for him to walk with the class of 2013, which included his great niece and his granddaughter.
