PHOENIX -

Employees work from home in their pajamas may put in over 20 more days than those who suit up and head to the office, a survey claims.

Video conference firm UCi2i surveyed 1,000 employees and found that those who work from home work 24 days more than they would if they worked at an office.

Employees who stay home have the extra flexibility of working around appointments and taking their kids to school.

Rather than wasting an hour commuting to an office, employees can spend that time doing their work.

Plus, workers are more apt to put in overtime when they don't have to worry about staying late or missing time with their families.

94 percent of workers who took the survey say the quality of their work is better when they've done it at home.

But not everyone thinks the idea is for the good of the company.

According to the survey, one in four people who regularly work at the office think those who work at home are cheating the system.
