Teen Birthday Party Turns Deadly; Five Shot, One Dead

A teen's birthday party takes a deadly turn after five young men are shot.  An 18-year old has died as a result of his injuries and a 17-year old underwent a five hour surgery to repair gunshot wounds to his torso, leg, arms and groin.

According to the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office, a party was being held at a house on the 1100 block of Deutz Avenue in Hamilton, NJ for a 15-year old girl.  Approximately 100 people were in attendance.

At 11:20pm, gunshots were fired in the front area of the home.  Five young men, between 16 and 18 years of age were shot.  18-year old Shakir Williams was pronounced dead at the scene.

Fox 29's Omari Fleming filed the above report on the Fox 29 news at 6. Omari spoke to the heartbroken girlfriend and brother of Williams, who are both terrible upset. 

Police said parents were home during the party and at this point, there are no suspects are in custody at this time.
