Police in Ocean County have released a sketch of the suspect who they say attacked a pregnant woman last week.

At 10:56 p.m. on July 11, a 23-year-old woman who is seven months pregnant was attacked by the suspect, according to police in Manchester Township.

She was stopped at the intersection of Renaissance Boulevard on County Road 571 when the suspect opened the side door and tried to carjack her by pulling her from the vehicle.

The victim fought back and was able to drive away without being pulled out of the car.

Police made the sketch based on the description given by the victim. Manchester Police asks anyone with information to contact them at 732-657-6111. All calls will remain confidential.
