Three injured when ATV hits van in Englewood

CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

Three people – including two babies – were injured when an ATV hit a van Monday night in the South Side Englewood neighborhood.

The all-terrain vehicle went through a stop sign and t-boned the van in the 5700 block of South Emerald Avenue, according to Fire Media Affairs.

The ATV driver was taken in serious condition to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, fire media said.

Two babies who were in the van were taken to Saint Bernard Hospital in good condition, fire media said. Their exact ages were not immediately known.

Police had no information on the crash Monday evening.
