TUCSON, Ariz. -

Pima County Sheriff's office says a 54-year-old man from Texas went missing while hiking in the Mt. Lemmon area early Thursday morning.

Scott Bertrand went hiking to an unknown location early Thursday morning.

He was reported overdue on Friday and his vehicle was found on Mt. Lemmon the same day.

Bertrand was found safe on Mt. Lemmon and in great shape on Sunday after going missing for three days.

KOLD-TV reports Bertrand was only prepared for a short three hour hike, but thanks to recent rains he was able to find water.

He didn't need any medical attention and only had a few scratches.
