A UPS employee faces felony second degree murder in a suspected fatal drunk driving collision on I-10.

Early Sunday morning, police say that Joshua Bia of Chinle was speeding on I-10 when he slammed into the back of a pickup truck near 67th Ave.

The truck flipped over, and its driver, 28-year-old Krystie Johnson, was thrown from the truck and killed.

Court records show that Bia had been drinking at a casino before the collision, as well as bar-hopping along Mill Ave in Tempe.

Records show he admitted to drinking vodka, beer, and smoking marijuana. According to documents, his breath test registered a BAC of .174.

The investigation is ongoing.
